The company designs, develops and manufactures high-tech and innovative composite equipment using the very latest machinery.

BEL has quickly become a global leader in the composite industry, and is a key supplier in many mega-projects in the field of desalination. It provides detailed comprehensive solutions as well as producing and installing composite products on a large scale for industrial processes, water treatment and water supplies among others.

BEL has expanded to such an extent that it now has several factories, logistics centers, sales offices and agents all over the world. It has developed a global business and production network for full customer satisfaction. Its products cover 30% of the American market, 25% of the European market and 24% of the Asian one.

In Spain, BEL began its activity in 2001 with the distribution of the first pressure tubes for desalination plants. Gradually, the BEL group began to realize that Spain provided an unbeatable opportunity for expansion given its status as the world number one in desalination.

In 2004 BEL COMPOSITE IBERICA, S.L. was founded. The chosen location for the company was the FUENTE ÁLAMO TECHNOLOGY PARK as its excellent land, sea and air transport links and the support provided by INFO (Regional Development Agency of Murcia), in the form of subsidies for its high-tech machinery, made it ideal.

BEL COMPOSITE IBERICA, was the first company to open in the TECHNOLOGY PARK, after MTorres. The main area of activity of BEL COMPOSITE IBERICA, S.L. is the design, manufacture and sale of 8” pressure tubes for reverse osmosis membranes.

Since it was founded in Spain in 2004, the company has grown from one employee marketing its products, to 50 employees today. These employees include highly qualified engineers and technicians. 10,000 tubes have been manufactured exclusively in these factories in just under three years. To mark the occasion, BEL wished to make the local authorities aware of the fact and thank them for their support, as well as to thank their clients and the other companies in the Technology Park which BEL forms such an integral part of.

BEL COMPOSITE IBERICA is an innovative company and has already started the process of installing a second production line to manufacture 16” pressure tubes for which there is a growing demand. We want to be the first company to manufacture these tubes on a large scale.
